These are the guiding principles that define my practice and my commitment to the femtech community. Through collaboration, support, and a burning desire to make the world a better place, the international femtech community has the collective power to transform the standard of care for women’s health. As a member of this industry, my goal is to spread awareness of femtech, disseminate meaningful insights that allow new founders and entrepreneurs to bring their health innovations to life, and mentor the next generation of femtech leaders. I am honored and excited to work in this space, and I hope you’ll join me in advocating for revolutionary women’s health solutions. 

Background & Credentials

I am a trained privacy, regulatory compliance, and transactional attorney for the health care and technology industries. My experience positions me to provide strategic advice to a broad range of health care and pharmaceutical companies, including femtech, digital health, Medtech, life sciences, and telemedicine companies. I obtained my J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and my Health Care LL.M. with a Certificate in Compliance from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. I am also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) through the International Association of Privacy Professionals and am Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) through the Compliance Certification Board. Throughout my career, I have worked at large and small law firms in key health care markets, including Washington, D.C., served as a Law Professor, and worked on the frontlines of digital health innovation.

My experience as a big law attorney, law school professor, speaker, and author make me the ideal expert to deliver complex legal concepts to broad audiences. 

I routinely speak and write about femtech, women’s health, reproductive rights and justice, the Internet of Things, legal considerations for digital health startup companies, ethical considerations for Medtech and femtech companies, privacy trends and risks, algorithmic bias, cybersecurity, and liability structures for emerging technology. 

Additionally, I work with physicians in developing femtech devices and analyzing ethical concerns regarding healthcare data monetization.
